How to Collect or Donate Supplies
- Donations are accepted year-round. Bring donations directly to The Banquet Downtown, 900 E 8th Street, from 9:00 am–5:00 pm. Please call 605.335.7066 so that we may assist you in unloading your items. Please note: we are unable to accept items during our distribution days Aug. 5, 7, 9| 13, 15, 17

How to Make Art Bags
Material preference: Canvas, denim, gender-neutral patterns or solid colors.
- Cut material into rectangular shape – 20” x 13”
- Place cording about 1” from the top of the 20” side.
- Fold material down over cording, making about a 1” casing, and stitch.
- Fold material in half, leaving ½” open at the top of the seam (to allow for cord).
- Stitch the rest of side seam and across the bottom (about ¼” seam).
- Please tie knots at each end of cord.
