We Welcome the Community

At The Banquet, our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide a welcoming place where people can gather, receive nourishment, and experience love in action. We also strive to create meaningful opportunities for volunteers to share food and fellowship with those we serve.

Founded in 1985 with just one meal per week, The Banquet has grown into a thriving meal ministry. Today, we serve 16 meals each week at two Sioux Falls locations. Every meal is made possible by dedicated volunteer groups who fund, prepare, and serve — demonstrating the compassion and community spirit that defines our work.
